When I found pickleball, it felt like the magic and memories of playing sports as a young adult came rushing back to me, and I immediately connected with it! Pickleball is such a unique sport which truly connects and builds community.

With CPP I want to focus on empowerment, building each other up, and transforming that into our daily way of being in the world. 

Growing up with two older brothers, I’ve always played sports. During my career as a middle school teacher, I also coached tennis, which was always a passion of mine. In February of 2021, I took my first round of introductory pickleball lessons and was "hooked". In February of 2023, I became a Certified PPR Pickleball Instructor and started teaching at Apex in August of 2023. My goal as an instructor is to give my clients the skills and desire to play this fantastically social sport with confidence and joy!

I discovered a newfound passion for pickleball after moving to Colorado and catching the "bug" that resonates with enthusiasts worldwide.

Driven by my passion for the game and desire to coach again, I obtained my ITPTA certification. My coaching philosophy is focused on supporting individuals in their journey towards growth, improvement, and mental fortitude, both on and off the court. I’m excited to take on this new journey with enthusiasm and genuine commitment to helping players unlock their full potential.

Pickleball took over my life four years ago when I impulsively registered for a tournament having never played. I got my butt kicked and vowed never to be beat by a beer-bellied, old man again.

I now play at the 4.5 level and have medaled consistently in local and national tournaments. I still have a blast playing recreational pickleball, and I began coaching as a PPR certified coach two years ago. I love bringing athletes from previous sports over to pickleball, teaching new players both form and strategy, and helping intermediate and advanced players take their games to the next level. I'm excited to join the Colorado Pride Pickleball team as a coach and look forward to working with this group of incredible women.

As a seasoned athlete, I am passionate about teaching athletic movement that enhances my students' overall pickleball experience. I help my students turn weaknesses into strengths by taking a holistic approach to coaching, including game strategy, shot selection, stroke efficiency, and court positioning.

As a former D-2 level athlete, sports have been a huge part of my life. For the last 20 years, I have been leading athletes, clubs, and coaches through my Mental Toughness Training seminars. I am proud to be able to collaborate with Colorado Pride Pickleball to help elevate your game, both on and off the court!
